Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at Mohammed V Airport, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, an architectural icon perched on the Atlantic coast. Overnight in Casablanca.

Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen

Travel to the capital, Rabat, to see the historic Hassan Tower and the scenic Kasbah of the Udayas. After lunch, journey north into the Rif Mountains to the enchanting “Blue City” of Chefchaouen. Wander its famous blue-washed alleys and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

Depart for the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore its remarkable mosaics before continuing to the imperial city of Meknes to see Bab Mansour. Arrive in Fes, the spiritual heart of Morocco, in the evening. Overnight in Fes.

Day 4: Full Day in Fes with Tour Guide

Immerse yourself in the UNESCO-listed Fes el-Bali medina with an expert local guide. Visit the Al-Attarine Madrasa, witness the ancient craft at the Chouara Tannery, and explore the vibrant souks filled with artisans. Overnight in Fes.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

Cross the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane and the Azrou Cedar Forest to see Barbary macaques. Pass through Midelt before descending through the dramatic Ziz Gorge into the vast palm-filled Ziz Valley. Arrive in Merzouga for a sunset camel trek to your luxury desert camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes.

Day 6: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Wake up for a breathtaking Sahara sunrise. After breakfast, depart the desert and stop at the traditional market in Rissani. Travel to the spectacular Todra Gorge to walk between its towering cliffs before continuing to the dramatic Dades Valley for your overnight stay.

Day 7: Dades Valley – Valley of the Roses – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou

Journey through the fragrant Valley of the Roses. Continue to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa,” and visit the famous ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed fortified village. Overnight in a guesthouse near the kasbah.

Day 8: Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

Cross the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the winding Tizi n’Tichka Pass, enjoying panoramic mountain views. Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon. The evening is free to explore Djemaa el-Fna square at your own pace. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 9: Marrakech – Departure from Casablanca

After breakfast, enjoy some free time in Marrakech before your scheduled private transfer to Casablanca’s Mohammed V Airport for your departure flight, concluding your 9-day Moroccan adventure.
